A slight delay
We had originally planned to release Land on Saturday night, but we ran into a few issues. We are now planning to release Land on Sunday night. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
We had originally planned to release Land on Saturday night, but we ran into a few issues. We are now planning to release Land on Sunday night. Thanks for your understanding and patience.
Tomorrow we intend to launch the Land features on Green Spot. Above is a preview of the various Zones that will be included in the release. Along with the Zones, we will be giving users the ability to own multiple pieces of Land. Users will be able to reorder their gardens and pick new Primary gardens using the Land Manager tool (yay!). We also intend to add even more features to this in the future (easier ways to navigate land and making land private).
The Green Spot team is excited to announce that we will be releasing Land in the next few weeks. Land will represent a new way for gardeners to create and explore gardens.
What will be new?
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to talk to everyone about the changes on Green Spot. Let’s talk about what’s new:
As you can see we’ve got a new look to our garden. We’ve heard a lot of feedback from our users over the past few months and this new look is the result.
Firstly, we have the greenhouse. There is now, no limit to how many items you keep in your greenhouse! Keep 5 or 5,000 it doesn’t matter, we want to make sure you are able to get at all your items and use them in new ways to make designs. Expect to see some improvements to the greenhouse. We’ll make it easier to sell items straight from the greenhouse and make it a lot more useful while you play Green Spot.
In order to get things from your greenhouse, just drag it from the greenhouse right where you want it on your garden. To put it back, drag it from your garden and drop it anywhere in your greenhouse. We’ll sort it for you! It’s as easy as that.
We also added “scaling” or “resizing” to items! Now you can change the size of items to fit a proper perspective or distance on your garden. It’s very exciting to see what people will do with this new feature. There are sure to be some amazing garden designs!
Concerns that have been raised:
As you can see, the garden is the same size as the previous version, and just look how far we’ve come since our first version!
We’re working on a more efficient way to sell items right from your greenhouse. We promise it will be out soon.
We can assure you that all of the green dollars and transactions are going through properly and your money is safe. We’re adding better ways to show you how much money you have and when it changes.
We’ve noticed that some gardens are running slow when there are a lot of animated items on them. We’re looking into ways to remedy this. However, if you notice jumping between gardens that don’t have a lot of items is much much faster than it was in v2. Don’t worry we’ll make sure we continue to make Green Spot run as fast as we can for everyone!
We’ll keep you posted as things change in the future! Hopefully you like the changes, and if you have comments or feedback make sure you let us know in the forums!

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to catch you all up on the changes that we’re making with Green Spot.
Private Messages
Some of you may have noticed that we’ve added an “Inbox” tab toward the top of the page. This is where you can read any private messages that you’ve received from others. If you want to send a private message to someone, visit their garden and click the “Send Message” link. Keep an eye on how many messages you’ve got so your inbox doesnt fill up!
Valentine Items
We recently put out a bunch of new items into Green Spot. You can now buy candy hearts and a very pretty songbird from the store, send streamers and lace to your friends and there are even a few surprises in treasure chests!
Blocking & Reporting
Green Spot now has the ability to block a gardener or report inappropriate gardens. In their profile section of their garden you’ll see two links at the bottom that says “Block Gardener” and “Report”. Hopefully these will help cut down on Green Spot abuse, and make everyone’s experience even better.
Keep on gardening!

Hi Everyone!
We’re excited to announce that we’re releasing new items! Have a look in the store soon to buy them for your garden! We can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with them!

Hi Everyone!
We’re really excited about the new items coming out on Wednesday Jan. 14th. For those of you that want your cherry blossom tree for your garden, now’s your chance! We’ve added LOTS of new items for green dollars, and some super fancy items for rubies. We really look forward to all the cool stuff all of you are going to do with them!
Who knows? You might even find some new treasure!
We’ve put in a new feature that lets you keep track of your favorite gardens! It’s called the Buddy List. You can find it in the bottom right of the page, where it replaces Promotions.
When you find a gardener you like, just click “Add to Buddy List” under their name, to the left of their garden. Then their name, picture and current status will show up in your Buddy List!

Please note that Buddy Lists have replaced Promotions. If you want to promote your garden, you can do so with a shoutout. Also, if you are having trouble seeing your Buddy List, try reloading the page.
Hi Everyone!
All of us here at Green Spot are very excited to announce that we’re adding custom backgrounds for your garden! We’re going to be starting off by adding three new backgrounds for you to pick from. Now you can have a nice waterfall in the background or even a snowscape! We’re planning on having these available for you later this week. Keep an eye out for them!
